GEMMOTHERAPY
Gemmotherapy is a method in which remedies from fresh plant parts such as buds, shoots and root tips from trees and shrubs are used. They are harvested in spring and macerated fresh in a mixture of glycerine and alcohol. The buds and shoots consist of embryonic tissue in full development. It is in this tissue that the vital and growth forces are at their highest. In addition, the embryonic tissue also contains many active substances that are no longer present in the further seasonal growth of the plants. Gemmotherapy assumes that the macerate from the embryonic tissue can be used to vitalize and strengthen the regenerative powers of humans.
